"The pianist Federico Colli, Sinfônica Brasileira and conductor Neil Thomson perform a Rachmaninoff to stay in memory.

From the first notes of the Beethoven's Sonata n. 22 in F major, Op. 54 the Italian pianist Federico Colli started the rapture of the audience into the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre on June 25th.

In the Rachmaninoff's piano concerto n. 3 in D minor, Op. 30 the soloist has been going on exuding romanticism, with a passionate and technically impressive interpretation.

The pianist has given to the familiar theme of the first movement a touch of mystery to the right level. In the second movement the OSB gave off a surprising sound, conducted by Thomson with energy and sweetness.

In the third movement the height of an unforgettable moment, a show in which all the musicians, conductor and pianist particularly, have shown deep understanding of the organic working of the Russian project.

If the music is part of the dreams, this concert of the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira accompanied by Federico Colli and Neil Thomson has been a beautiful chimera, which the Brazilian audience will remember for a long time."
